Questions about how referrals work
Does StandardsDesk issue LEIs, audit ISO systems or file registrations?
No. We are an independent information and referral service. LEIs come from accredited issuers, certificates from certification bodies, and VAT, EORI and EPR registrations from tax and compliance specialists. Every one of those is an independent third party.
What happens after I submit an enquiry?
We read what you sent and, where an active routing arrangement matches, pass it to a suitable independent provider who contacts you with next steps, pricing and timescales. If nothing matches, the enquiry is stored as unassigned rather than sent somewhere unsuitable.
Do I have to use the provider you introduce me to?
No. An introduction is a starting point, not a contract. Compare providers yourself and pick whoever fits.
How does StandardsDesk make money?
Some providers pay us a referral fee when an introduction turns into business. It does not increase your price, and it does not change the factual content on this site.
Can you tell me exactly what my business needs?
We give general guidance and free self-assessment tools. That is not legal, tax or professional advice - for a decision that carries a cost or a deadline, confirm it with a qualified provider or the authority asking.
