This Cookie Policy explains how StandardsDesk uses cookies, browser storage and similar technologies.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files saved by a website in your browser. Similar technologies, such as local storage, can also remember settings or help website features work.
Managing your choices
When required, our consent banner lets visitors:
- Accept all optional categories.
- Reject optional categories.
- Manage categories individually.
Optional cookies and third-party external content do not load before the corresponding consent is provided.
Visitors can change or withdraw their choices at any time using the Cookie settings control in the footer. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that occurred before withdrawal.
Categories we use
Strictly necessary
These technologies are required for website security, form handling, administrative authentication, referral attribution and remembering cookie choices.
They cannot be disabled through our consent tool because the website may not function correctly without them.
The current consent preference is stored in the first-party sd_consent cookie for up to 180 days.
Analytics
Analytics help us understand how visitors use the website, which pages are useful and whether errors occur.
Analytics stay disabled until a visitor has consented to the analytics category. No analytics service is currently installed, so no analytics cookie is loaded or simulated.
External content
Some pages embed content supplied by independent providers, including TradingView market charts or partner application forms.
External content stays blocked until the visitor enables the relevant category. Once enabled, the visitor’s browser may connect to the provider, disclose technical information such as an IP address and allow the provider to use its own cookies or storage.
Marketing
StandardsDesk does not currently activate advertising cookies through its own consent system.
Referral links may contain identifiers that allow a provider to attribute a visit or transaction. The provider’s own policies apply after the visitor follows a link or interacts with its service.
If marketing or advertising technology is introduced later, it will be added as a separate opt-in category before it is activated.
Third-party providers
Third-party services may process information under their own cookie and privacy policies. StandardsDesk does not control cookies placed directly by an independent provider after a visitor enables or visits that provider’s content.
Where external content is enabled, the provider’s own policy applies - for market charts, see the TradingView privacy and cookie policies.
Browser controls
Visitors can also delete or block cookies through their browser settings. Blocking necessary storage may prevent features such as consent preferences, forms or administrative access from working properly.
Browser-based “Do Not Track” signals are not applied consistently across the industry. Where legally required and technically supported, recognised opt-out preference signals are respected.
