LEI

LEI Lookup — search the global LEI register

Search by a 20-character LEI code or by company legal name to check whether an entity has a current LEI, when it was last renewed, and which LEI issuer manages it.

Enter a full 20-character LEI code, or search by company legal name.

How to read your search result

Entity status ("Active" / "Inactive") reflects whether the legal entity itself is still active, based on the information supplied to the LEI issuer.

Registration status shows whether the LEI record itself is current. A status of "Lapsed" means the LEI was not renewed by its renewal date — the code still exists, but it is not up to date. Some counterparties will not accept a lapsed LEI for reporting or onboarding purposes.

Managing LOU is the Local Operating Unit (LEI issuer) responsible for maintaining that record. Renewal, transfer or updates to an existing LEI are handled by an LEI issuer — not by looking the record up here.

This lookup uses the public GLEIF register and reflects only what is published there. It is not legal confirmation of a regulatory requirement, and it does not replace direct confirmation from your broker, bank or regulator.

If your search shows a lapsed registration, or you don't have an LEI yet, we can point you to our LEI partner for registration, renewal or transfer.
