What the fields actually mean
Entity status ("Active" / "Inactive") describes the legal entity itself, based on what was reported to the LEI issuer.
Registration status describes the LEI record. "Lapsed" means it missed its renewal date. The code still exists, but it is out of date, and plenty of counterparties will not accept it for reporting or onboarding until it is renewed.
Managing LOU is the issuer responsible for that record. Renewals, transfers and data corrections go through an issuer - looking the record up here changes nothing.
This lookup shows what is published in the GLEIF register and nothing more. It is not confirmation that you are required to hold an LEI, and it does not replace an answer from your broker, bank or regulator.
