Certification & Readiness
ISO 9001 Quality Management
ISO 9001 is the international standard for quality management systems. It describes how an organisation plans, delivers and improves its products or services consistently, and how it demonstrates that to customers.
Certification itself is issued by an independent certification body after an audit. StandardsDesk does not audit or certify — we pass your scope to suitable independent consultants and certification bodies who quote you directly.

FAQ
ISO 9001 questions we're asked most
How long does ISO 9001 certification take?
It depends on your size, number of sites and how much is already documented. Providers quote their own timescales; a small single-site business is often quicker than a multi-site group. Ask each provider for their estimate before committing.
What does ISO 9001 cost?
Pricing is set by the independent consultant or certification body, not by StandardsDesk. Costs usually depend on headcount, number of sites and scope complexity, and are typically split between preparation support and audit fees.
Do we need a consultant as well as a certification body?
Not always. Some organisations prepare in-house and only engage a certification body. Others want preparation support first. You can request either — or both — in the quote form.
Is StandardsDesk a certification body?
No. We are an independent referral service. We do not perform audits or issue certificates, and we may receive a referral fee when an introduction leads to business.
