Certification & Readiness
ISO 14001 Environmental Management
ISO 14001 is the international standard for environmental management systems. It covers how an organisation identifies its environmental aspects and impacts, meets its compliance obligations, and improves environmental performance over time.
Certification is issued by an independent certification body following an audit. StandardsDesk does not audit or certify — we introduce your enquiry to suitable independent consultants and certification bodies who quote you directly.

FAQ
ISO 14001 questions we're asked most
Can ISO 14001 be combined with ISO 9001?
Yes — both share the same high-level structure, and many organisations run an integrated management system audited at the same time. Mention any existing certifications in the quote form so providers can price an integrated approach.
Does ISO 14001 prove we are legally compliant?
No. It requires you to identify and manage your compliance obligations, but it is not a legal compliance certificate and does not replace advice from an environmental specialist or regulator.
What drives the cost?
Providers usually price on number of sites, headcount, the environmental risk profile of your activities and how much documentation already exists. Quotes come from the provider, not from StandardsDesk.
Is StandardsDesk a certification body?
No. We are an independent referral service. We do not perform audits or issue certificates, and we may receive a referral fee when an introduction leads to business.
